Overview (Scope of Role)

The Internal IT Auditor will support IT audit engagements, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance testing, and IT advisory services to ensure effective IT controls, safeguard corporate assets, ensure data integrity, and align with overall business objectives. This role will involve regular interaction with IT and business leadership.

• Reporting directly to Senior IT Audit Manager, execute day-to-day internal audit activities in the performance and management of IT engagements, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance testing activities, and special projects 
• Assist in the assessment, tracking, and reporting of Sarbanes-Oxley testing results including control deficiencies and remediation. Act as an Internal Audit liaison with the Company’s process owners, management, and external auditors on assigned Sarbanes Oxley related matters 
• Partner with management to identify risks, develop action plans and monitor completion 
• Actively pursue training and development of key technical skills and capabilities (including maintenance of relevant certifications), and leverage these skills and training to enhance the tools and methodologies deployed by the Internal Audit function in order to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness
• Proactively communicate audit issues with management; lead efforts in formulating recommendations for process improvements during financial & operational audits in relation to IT
• Perform other duties, such as developing framework, methodology, audit programs and tools, development and use of data analytics for execution of audits and advisory engagements, etc.

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, MIS, Accounting, or related area 
• 1+ of combined experience in public accounting, internal audit functions, and/or relevant IT experience
• Obtained or pursuing professional certifications of CISA, CIA, CISSP, and/or CPA preferred 
• Technical experience in areas such as SAP S/4, process automation systems, cybersecurity and other emerging technologies preferred (academic or professional)
• Experience with Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and/or Robotics Process Automation (RPA) preferred (academinc or professional)
• Sarbanes-Oxley testing experience preferred
• Chemical or manufacturing industry experience would be a plus 
• Strong oral and written communication skills 
• Strong analytical, problem solving, project management and organizational skills 
• Excellent interpersonal skills to engage all levels of management 
• Ability to travel ~5%
