Responsibilities

• Set up process/utility equipment (cleaning, line-up etc.) to start a production cycle
• Control and adjust operation equipment settings (e.g. speed, setpoint)
• Unloading raw material & shipping finished goods
• Incoming raw material acceptance testing & issue COA for finished goods
• Inspect/clean process equipment & piping periodically (vessel, exchanger, transfer line etc)
• Fix issues that might occur during the shift/day operation
• DCS operation
• Utilize company specific system (Quality system, SAP)
• Understand operating discipline/ update procedures
• Acquire relevant licenses (forklift, hazardous material handling, industrial safety etc)
• Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
• Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
• Maintain activity logs

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.  A two year chemical/ technical /mechanical degree is preferred. 
 
3+ years past work experience (manufacturing, or lab or  chemical experience) is preferred.
 
For the Technical Production Operators, a valid drivers’ license is required along with obtaining forklift certificatio or relevant liceses.
 
Experience working with hand tools is preferred.
 
Will be required to wear all Personal Protective Equipment, including a respirator, and to adhere to all safety standards.
 
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment as well as be independently motivated to produce results.
 
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and through written communication.
 
Compliance with the safety rules and operating regulations required by the company.
 
Ability to lift a maximum of 45 pounds when needed.
